Bob Hart will be sharing pictures from Fort Recovery, past and present at the Library on Tuesday, May 3 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. The evening will be open house style with a dvd of images running for the duration of the evening. Contact the Library for more information.

 

Used Book Sale

The Fort Recovery Library will be hosting a Used Book Sale Tuesday, May 31st - Saturday, June 4th during regular Library hours. The Used Book Sale is sponsored by the Friends of the Library, and profits from the sale are returned to the Library for materials, books, and programs. Donations of used books in good condition are being accepted at the Library now. Textbooks, dictionaries, Reader's Digest Condensed Version books, magazines and VHS tapes will not be accepted.

Primitive Technology with William Blalock

Upper Elementary students and middle school students are invited to join us at the Library on Wednesday, June 15th at 1:00 PM for a great program. William Blalock, a local who does Flintknapping (makes arrowheads and other primitive stone tools), will be showing different tools that ancient man used.

It's "Mission: Nutrition" with the Armstrong Air and Space Museum at the Library on Monday, June 20th at 10:30 AM. Students will learn about what Astronaut's need to eat before and during their missions and what food choices are healthy.
