Attendees are invited to join the group for lunch at a local restaurant after the discussion (Individuals are responsible for the cost of their own meal). The Friends of the Library is once again sponsoring a “Pumpkin Painting” night at the Library on Tuesday, October 13, at 6:00 PM and a second session at 7:00 PM. Pre-registration for this event is required as pumpkins are limited. The cost for this event is $1.00 per child. There will be no charge for Friends of the Library Members. Paranormal Adventures

Fort Recovery native, Alex Meiring, will be speaking about Paranormal Investigating on Tuesday, October 20th at 7:00 PM. Alex works with Dark Alley Paranormal Investigators, which is a Columbus-based group formed in 2008 that uses ghost hunting equipment to investigate old buildings and residential homes that may be haunted. Alex will be sharing his experiences and the investigative process at this exciting presentation.

World War II Presentation

Jim Waechter from the Museum of the Soldier in Portland, IN, will be here at the Library on Tuesday, November 10th at 6:30 PM. He will be bringing some WWII memorabilia. The year 2015 marks the 70th Anniversary of the end of WW II. Thank you to all the veterans, past and present, that serve our country to protect our freedoms.
