The Book & Lunch Club will be meeting at the Library at 10:30 AM. Attendees are invited to join the group for lunch at a local restaurant after the discussion (Individuals are responsible for the cost of their own meal). Come and shop for Christmas at the Library! The Scholastic Book Fair will be open at the Library Monday, November 15 - Friday, November 20. Support the Friends of the Library through this fundraiser and get gifts for Christmas.

Calling all kids to join us for Crafts and Bingo on Friday, September 25 at 10:30 AM. The cost for this event is $1.00 per child. There will be no charge for members of the Friends of the Library. This event is sponsored by the Fort Recovery Friends of the Library.

The Friends of the Library is once again sponsoring a “Pumpkin Painting” night at the Library on Tuesday, October 13, at 6:00 PM and a second session at 7:00 PM. Pre-registration for this event is required as pumpkins are limited. The cost for this event is $1.00 per child. There will be no charge for Friends of the Library Members. Fort Recovery native, Alex Meiring, will be speaking about Paranormal Investigating on Tuesday, October 20^th at 7:00 PM. Alex works with Dark Alley Paranormal Investigators, which is a Columbus-based group formed in 2008 that uses ghost hunting equipment to investigate old buildings and residential homes that may be haunted. Alex will be sharing his experiences and the investigative process at this exciting presentation.

The 11th Annual Fort Festival of Trees will be held at the Library December 7 - December 30 during normal business hours. Contact the Library at 419-375-2869 for more information.

Jim Waechter from the Museum of the Soldier in Portland, IN, will be here at the Library on Tuesday, November 10th at 6:30 PM. He will be bringing some WWII memorabilia. The year 2015 marks the 70th Anniversary of the end of WW II. Thank you to all the veterans, past and present, that serve our country to protect our freedoms.

The Library will host a kids craft night on Tuesday, November 17 at 6:15 PM until 7:00 PM. This free event is open to the public and requires no pre-registration.

The Library will be open Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM for the Community Christmas Open House. The annual Scholastic Book Fair, sponsored by the Friends of the Library, will be open during the Christmas Open House.
