The Friends of the Library is hosting a Pumpkin Painting for children, Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at the library. There will be two sessions: Session 1: 6:00 - 6:45 PM; Session 2: 7:00 - 7:45 PM. Letterboxing for Kids - A Low-Tech Treasure Hunt: Discover how letterboxing started and how you can involve the family.  Program will be hosted by the Friends of the Library on Tues., Nov. 11, 6:30 pm at the library.  Also learn how to make your own stamp, the artistic aspect of the letterboxing experience.  Stamping supplies will be available for $1.00.  Friends' members free.  Everyone is welcome.  For more info. call the library (419)375-2869.

"Frozen" Party

We're Frozen! Come join us for a "Frozen" party Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Library from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. There will be crafts, games, a sing- along and lots of fun! The cost for this event is $1.00 per child. There is no charge for Friends of the Library members. 

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Party

Students in grades 3 - 7 are invited to join us at the Library on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 6:00 for a "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" party. Bring your "Wimpy Kid" knowledge and an appetite for CHEESE! Hal McCoy to speak in Fort Recovery

Hal McCoy, author of “The Real McCoy” and sports writer for the Cincinnati Reds, will be coming to town Wednesday, June 3 at 6:30 PM. This free event, sponsored by the Fort Recovery Friends of the Library, is open to the public and will be held at the Fort Recovery Middle/Elementary School Auditeria. Don’t miss the chance to hear Mr. McCoy speak about his life covering Major League Baseball and specifically his experiences with the Cincinnati Reds. The Friends of the Library will be hosting a Used Book Sale at the Library June 1 - June 6. Stop in and check out our great selection of used books, DVDs, audiobooks and other miscellaneous items. Books and videos are buy one, get one free for members of the Friends of the Library. Saturday, June 6, will be a special bag day sale. An entire bag of items will cost $1.00.
