Senior Citizen Meal Service

The Mercer County Council on Aging offers a meal service at the Fort Recovery Public Library to senior citizens in the Southern part of Mercer County. Meals are available the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at the Library at 12:00 PM for a cost of $3.00. Participants are invited to stay and play cards at the Library in the community meeting room at 1:00 pm. Please RSVP for meals at least 24 hours in advance to the Mercer County Council on Aging at 419-586-1644. The Menu will be available by calling the Council office or will be printed in the Daily Standard.

 

"Take A Tromp Through The Swamp"

Tom Sieling, musicianJoin us Wednesday, May 31st at 10:30 AM at the Fort Recovery Library as we kick off our 2017 Summer Reading Program with a Musical Adventure through the Swamp! Tom Sieling, musician and entertainer, will be presenting a humorous participatory sing-along for all ages. This free program is open to the public and is sponsored by the Fort Recovery Friends of the Library.

Beach Ball

Kids of all ages are invited to join us for some fun outdoor games and activities designed to keep us moving and have a lot of fun. We will see you behind the Fort Recovery Museum on Tuesday, June 13th at 10:30 AM. Beware: You MAY get wet!

Music Fun

Music notesJoin us for Music and movement with Spanish, African and English language songs on Tuesday, July 11th at 6:15 pm. Build a Better World with songs about Swahili greetings, Spanish actions and a variety of animals. Suited for ages 4 - 10, but all are welcome (30 - 40 minutes)

Story Time

Join us for a fun Story Time, Wednesday, July 5th, at 10:30 AM at the Library during our Summer Reading Program, "Build A Better World". This program is open to all children and is free of charge.
