Grandma is getting more and more forgetful and can't find the key to her recipe box where her secret Thanksgiving dressing recipe is. She needs your help. Student Winter Reading Program

The Fort Recovery Education Association (FREA) is sponsoring a Winter Reading Program. Fort Recovery Local Schools students of all grades are encouraged to check out books at the FR Public Library January 18th - February 23rd. Students earn a sweet treat every time they check out books, and for every 100 books checked out during this time period, FREA will donate one book to the school library and one to the public library. The more students read, the more books the libraries earn! Thank you FREA for sponsoring this great program.

A used book sale will be held February 4 - 9 during regular library hours. Books are buy one, get one free for Members of the Friends of the Library. 

Battle of the Books Meeting

Battle of the Books Competition

The annual Battle of the Books competition between Fort Recovery Local Schools Students and Coldwater Schools will be held at the Coldwater Public Library at 6:30 PM. 

Crochet-A-Thon

Adult Reading Challenge

Patrons age 50 and over are invited to participate in an Adult Reading Challenge February 1 - March 1, sponsored by: Briarwood Village, Celina Manor, Van Wert Manor and the Libraries of Mercer County. Each time a patron checks out books, audio books, or digital books, he/she can fill out one entry form (per visit) for a chance to win weekly prizes.
