Volunteer Opportunities

The Friends of the Library exists to provide services and programs for the Fort Recovery Public Library. These programs are successful because of wonderful community volunteers. The following programs provide numerous opportunities to get involved and support the local library:

Friends of the Library Membership

New Members of the Friends of the Library are always welcome.

If you wish to become a member of the Friends of the Library or renew your membership, please print and complete the membership form available below.  Membership forms can also be picked up at the library.

Membership forms and fees can be returned to the library in person or be mailed to:

* Members receive special privileges at the book sales, kids' craft days, notifications of special events and more.

* Thank you for your support!

Meeting Room

As a community service, the library makes its meeting room available for use by community groups when it is not being used for library related activities. Meeting room is available to the public for civic, cultural, charitable, or educational programs.

* The meeting room is free for Non-Profit organization groups and a $50 charge to anyone else.

Donation Opportunities

The Fort Recovery Public Library welcomes donations. Thank you for your generosity. 

Monetary Donations:
* You can make a significant difference with any charitable donation. Your contribution funds needed items directly to our library.

* Money can be used to donate items in honor or in memory of a loved one. A bookplate will be added to recognize this special donation.

Book Sale

The Fort Recovery Public Library Sponsors two (2) book sales per year. The funds received help fund library materials and special programs. Donations are always welcome.
